On the 'Purge Transactions' screen (available to full-access users only) there is a new tool-bar button: Purge old transactions
This option will remove all transactions from both retail and franchise module that are older than the number of months specified in the restaurant settings screen (see image below).
The process will also add an entry on the purged transaction history for every transaction that have been deleted. |

New | Compact Database |
A new option (available to full-access users only) has been added below the Tools section on the left option-tree: Compact Database.
This option will allow the user to run a database compacting routine. The application will be closed and a console application, in charge of running the compacting routine, is started. At the end of the process, the console application will re-lunch McConnections and report any eventual error that occurred while compacting. IMPORTANT NOTE: The database file is backed up before running the compacting process, also, the compacting process will create a new compacted file and replace the existing one only if the routine completed successfully. |

New | About Screen |
A new option has been added below the Tools section on the left option-tree: About McConnections.
This screen will show few information about McConnections application version, the location of the database and its size in MB, the Sage company name and data path location. The bottom section will show a list of all executable (exe) and assemblies (.dll) files used by the application, the version and the date released. A drop down list will filter the components based on the selection (envisage components, 3rd party components and all components). IMPORTANT NOTE: Most Envisage assemblies are named Advent which is the former company name. |

Change | Mail Envisage Support |
A new option has been added below the Tools section on the left option-tree: Mail Envisage Support.
This option will allow the user to compile and send an email to Envisage support directly from the application by simply typing a message. The email prepared/sent will contain additional details about the client, the sage version he is using, the operative system version and other debugging details. |
