| 1 | Windows XP: Has some issues in some instances, this needs to be tested on a case by case bases. |

| 4 | McDonald's VPN Tool: TravelLink (old) and Cisco (new) are both supported. |

| Sage Line 50 - SDO Key for 3rd Party Integration | |
| 1 | Request the SDO activation key for the relevant version of Sage Line 50, click here to see how. |
| 2 | Enable 3rd Party integration on Sage Line 50, click here to see how. |
| Sage Line 50 - Data Preparation | |
| 1 | Create McConnections user with partial or full access in Sage in order to be able to use both applications at the same time, click here to see how. |
| 2 | Create (or define) the customer account to represent the EPoS account in Sage, such customer will receive all restaurants sales and lodgements. |
| 3 | Create (or define) the supplier account to represent the Martin Brower account in Sage, such supplier will receive all restaurants purchases. |
| 4 | Create (or define) the nominal account to represent the daily till differences in Sage. |
| 5 | Create (or define) the all departments to represent different restaurants in Sage. |
| McDonald's System (Sales) | |
| 1 | Retrieve the McDonald's restaurant code (a four digit number starting with 70..) for every restaurant to be set-up in McConnections. |
| 2 | Ensure that the McDonald's VPN tool (TravelLink or Cisco) is installed and that connection with McDonald's VPN can be successfully achieved. |
| Martin Brower System (Purchase) | |
| 1 | Register with Martin Brower in order to start receiving electronic invoices via email, click here to see how. |
| EMail Settings (OPTIONAL) | |
| 1 | Microsoft Exchange Server: To integrated Microsoft Exchange Server retrieve the exchange server address and make sure it is enabled to allow McConnections to send mails on the user's behalf. The user must have a valid MS Exchange account. |
| 2 | Generic SMTP Server: To integrate a generic SMTP server (i.e.: gmail.com) retrieve the SMTP address from your mail provider (i.e.: smtp.googlemail.com). The user will also need a valid mail address and login password. |
| Once all items above have been reviewed and required set-up information gathered you can proceed with the download, install and set-up of McConnections software. | |
