McConnections Sage Link for McDonald's Restaurants by Envisage Cloud Ltd. How to Upgrade Sage Line 50 (with McConnections) to a newer version

Overview
	When Sage Line 50 is upgraded to a newer major version it removes the McConnections Database from the Sage Data folder. It is therefore important to take a back-up of the McConnections database (and Sage data) before starting with the Sage Line 50 Upgrade. The following step-by-step guide will help you performing a clean upgrade.
Step by step Upgrade guide
1	The following actions MUST be taken before Sage Line 50 is upgraded Acquire Sage Line 50 SDO Key for the new version of Sage (see how here) Make sure no user is using Sage or McConnections. Make sure a back up of Sage Data has been taken
2	Run McConnections and login as Manager and take a back-up of the McConnections database. NOTE: Run the option 'Back-Up Database' from the option on the left option-tree, below the 'Tools' section.
3	Uninstall McConnections using the system's Control Panel.
4	Upgrade Sage Line 50 to the newer version by following the standard upgrade process, after the upgrade the Sage Line 50 data will also be upgraded. At this point the McConnections database is removed by Sage data upgrade process. NOTE: This guide is not intended to explain how to upgrade Sage Line 50
5	Locate the McConnections database back-up taken on step 2 (see above). Then: Unzip the file and rename the extracted file as: McConnections.DAT Move McConnections.DAT to the Sage Line 50 ACCDATA folder [...]Company.XXX\ACCDATA\
6	Download and Install the latest version of McConnections software for the version of Sage Line 50 that has been just installed.
7	Run McConnections and log-in to the Sage company, if McConnections version has increased the McConnections database will be automatically upgraded. IMPORTANT: If more than one Sage Line 50 companies have McConnections running then a back-up (step 2) have to be taken for every company and then moved back (step 5) to the relevant Sage Line 50 ACCDATA folder.
